Stocking Ornament Crochet Pattern

Skill Level: Easy

Materials Needed:
size B crochet hook
worsted weight yarn in holiday colors


Special stitches:

joining in - place slip knot on hook, insert hook through st, yo, finish st as stated in pattern.
decreased single crochet (d.sc) - insert hook through st, yo, pull through st, insert hook into next st, yo, pull through st , yo, pull top yo through the sts on the hook.

With stocking color....

- ch 4, sl st 1st st to form a loop
- sc 8 into the loop - 8 sc
- sc each st around - 8 sc
- repeat last row 4 more times- 8 sc
- 2 sc in the 1st st, sc next st, d.sc next 2 sts tog., d.sc next 2 sts tog., sc next st, 2 sc next st - 8 sc
- repeat last row 1 more time - 8 sc
- sc each st around - 8 sc
- repeat last row 4 more times - 8 sc
- fasten off

With top edging color...

- join in on top of stocking with a sc, sc each st around - 8 sc
- sc each st around - 8 sc
- fasten off
- add a string or ornament hook and enjoy!
