I am Jess(ica). I run Knot By Gran'ma and make all of the cool stuff. Well... I think it's cool. You might not. I also design crochet patterns for the crafty crochet types who visit me. My dolls are all one of a kind. There are art dolls (which are not for playing and cuddling) and my kid friendly line of dolls, which is just getting started. I've been dabbling in keychains and ornaments lately too, because you really can't make dolls ALL the time.
That being said, I'm a stay at home mom, have some cats, a bunny, and chickens in the backyard. Life is good.
Here we are in the One World One Heart Blog event... It's the last year for the event and my first year being part of it. Needless to say, it's pretty cool.
What's the door prize for visiting KBG? It's my Tri-saur Monster Doll.
He's crocheted out of acrylic yarns with cotton crochet thread on the eyes and teeth. He's stuffed with polyester fiberfill and has 2 safety eyes. He's not intended for small children due to his safety eyes. He stands on his own, and measures 10 inches (25.4 cm) tall and 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide. He's totally one of a kind.
This event is about meeting new people. It's open to all bloggers worldwide. You simply visit the participating blogs and leave a comment in order to win a prize... picked on February 17, 2011 randomly of course. I'll be posting the winner on that day, and also emailing them to let them know (please make sure there's a way to get in touch with you when you leave a comment!). Pretty easy. That being said, I will also be visiting your blogs, leaving comments, and hopefully making new acquaintances.
So please, leave a comment. It's been nice to meet you, by the way. Hopefully you'll be the one to take him home.
