Ruminating Stitches

This past week, we gave thanks.

I'm thankful that I get to do what I love to every day. Originally I was going to school to be a music teacher. I used to play classical saxophone in another life. I miss it some days, but I also feel that the journey to where I am is where I need to be. Plus... I really have no patience beyond 2 kids at a time, unless it's for very, very, very short periods of time. Crocheting monsters and creating seems to be where I need to be right now.

Family. I'm thankful for the family that I have. It hasn't always been easy, but like Stephen Stills said... Love the one you're with. I think this applies nicely, and it makes us able to enjoy the company of those  in our lives.

  2. It's a hiking spot near our house... part of the Appalachian Trail I think. It's called Nuclear Lake. It's really pretty. :)
