Scrap Yarn Pattern WIP - Eyeglass Case

The full free pattern is available here.

All of this talk about a remnant (or scrap) yarn swap (ahem... look to your right) got me thinking about what I could do with all of these yarn remnants that I may or may not swap. Then I glanced across the table at my 3 pairs of not cheap glasses laying there all helpless, and it dawned on me. I should make a cool eyeglass case. So this will turn into a pattern for you all.

Here are some progress shots of the colorful version. There's also going to be a not so colorful version with eyeballs attached to the top of it. You will be able to buy these seperately or as a pair.

This entire "case" so far has only taken 54 yards of yarn... 12 sections of 4.5 yard pieces. Not too shabby for scrap yarn. And I've heard it all before. I have enough scraps that I don't know what to do with... blah, blah, blah. Well now you can protect your glasses with your scrap yarn that you don't know what to do with. By the way, this would also look stellar in a solid color... which the other pattern will showcase.

This particular pattern (the other one also) will also include super easy instructions for lining your glasses case with a semi-padded lining... extra protection.
