It's Fiber Arts Friday! I've been knee deep in fiber this week... apparently there's a bunch of monsters needing to be made... they get jammed up in my head if I don't keep making them. This is the latest of the holiday monsters. I may have one more of these guys up my sleeve... I'm undecided.
There's also a plethora (okay, maybe just 6 or so...) of ornaments that I've been furiously working on. I'd like to have the patterns and maybe even the ornaments available by Sunday. This weekend is the last of the non-crazy weekends for the rest of the month. It should all be good.
Other than that, there's the invitations for the kiddo's 8th birthday party that have been getting made and are finally in the mailbox and now all I have left are the 45 invitations for the Holiday Open House Party... a Knot By Gran'ma first and being thrown at my house to boot! I hope everyone on my street doesn't mind the invite. Even better, I hope they all show up! That would be awesome. We have a ton (well 5... I'm a little exaggeratey today) of great local artists coming over to keep the inventory fresh too. Should be swell. This is what I've come up with for the invite:
The big white splotch isn't on the invitation... just don't think it's a great idea to share my house address with the world. You understand...

Oh what a great idea with the holiday party. M. won't let me have "strangers" in our home but I so much like to entertain.
ReplyDeleteWell... I'll know where everyone lives, if not know them personally. I'm keeping it to my neighbors and people that I know... oh and that the other craftspeople know. We're okay with that. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the holiday monsters...they are too adorable.
ReplyDeleteYour invitation is great too!
Thanks for sharing.
Happy Fiber Arts Friday!
Those are some beautiful green eyes on that little boy. Your monster is awesome like all the rest. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and Happy Fiber Arts Friday!
