Kiddo had a birthday party this weekend. It was nice... he's finally to the age where he can be dropped off (depending on the party) and I don't have to worry about his behavior. This particular party took place at a lovely and old camp down the street from us. We parked at the bottom of a giant driveway and walked about the length of a football field to the top. It was brisk out and wonderful. I snapped some pictures on the way down...

The got to ride on a zip line and apparently had an epic Nerf gun battle. Sounds like good times!
I managed to squeeze some crochet time in on Sunday. Weekends tend to be a little hectic around here, and I'm finding I don't crochet as much as I'd like to. I'm making this pair of mitts for my pal and get to make a pair for her mother in law. Yay mitts!

I finished this one after the picture was taken. I wanted to have the pattern out today, but I still have to test the bigger size. I was feeling a bit under the weather last night. That always hinders productivity. Maybe I'll finish that larger size today.
The crochet mitts are looking great!
