Let's Feel the LOVE

I'm happy to report that I've finished the two dolls that were waiting to be finished. I haven't been able to work on my LOVE piece because these two were blocking my creative flow... or nagging my subconsciousness to finish or NOTHING ELSE WILL BE FINISHED. Maybe a little of both...

I'm happy to report that Jim the Grawr Monster has found a foster home in the shop and is waiting for his new forever home. I'm so pleased with how he came out... can't even explain it.

Also this Roller Derby Monster Doll found her place in the listing world of my shop. I love her badness... like "get out of my way or I'll get you" badness. She's so fun.

Now that those pieces are finished and I can think about other stuff, I'll be working on my LOVE piece. It's for the Ouchi Gallery's 4th 100 Artist Exhibition in Brooklyn, NY. I'm pretty psyched as I've never been involved in a show like this before. I would LOOOOOOOVE to have this be a new direction in addition to what I'm already doing.

In total unrelated news this guy was on Etsy's front page for about 3 minutes yesterday. There's a first time for everything I guess. It happened right after I lamented on Twitter about how I sometimes feel like my work doesn't fit in with the "Etsy style"... go figure.

Anyway... don't forget that today is the last day to take advantage of my Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. Use the coupon code JOYANDPEACE during checkout to save 20% off of your order.
