Hardly Deep Thoughts

Lots of creating this week...

1. I should be able to create more during the week, but apparently my time management skills and priorities are a bit jumbled. Theoretically I'm working a 10 hour week with very little output. Time to step it up.

2. Dr. Destructo turns 3 tomorrow. He's the main reason why my work week is so small. It's not bad though. Before I know it, he'll be in school and think his mom smells.

3. Pinterest and Tumblr have made it so I add knotbygranma.com to all of my public pictures. That is the way I want to spend hours of my life... editing pictures. WHEEEEEEEE!

4. I have to make muffins and a red cake today. It won't be a red velvet cake... just has to be red. Maybe strawberries on top and in the middle. That would be nice.

5. I read 2 books this month. I highly recommend the The Story Sisters. Holy awesome, Batman.

  1. I know what you mean with the little one shrinks your work week, but they don't stay small forever :-(

I'm loving Pinterest so far. When your picture is pinned and someone clicks on it, they are taken directly to the source. Some businesses are saying they get a good percentage of hits every day from Pinterest. I hope you have some way to monitor the hits too.

    1. I too love Pinterest, but there's the little part of me that wants to make sure my pictures stay my pictures... We'll see how it pans out.

    1. Thank you. I'll be stepping everything up a bit... maybe. I have a few shows coming up that I at least need inventory for. :)

  4. Hi Jess, I love your little pink monster! (And all your creations) I need to watermark all my pictures too, doing it in small batches, though I see that there are programs available to do this...the old $ vs. Time debate. Best wishes and happy crafting!

    1. Thank you. I've been using Flickr's picnik.. which is shutting down in April. They're saying there will be something to replace it. Here's to hoping.
