Monsters and Features

I made monsters this week... and carved some pumpkins... and was featured in a few things.  Pretty cool all around.

Here's 2 more of my new monsters...  I'm not sure how many of this style I'm gonna make.  I guess we'll see how it goes.  They crack me up, so I may just have to make bunches more.

This guy's super special because I managed to squeeze in some beautiful sock yarn scraps that I had... I don't know why, but being able to actually use sock yarn in areas other than making socks makes me insanely happy.  Go figure.

I think the highlight of the week was being featured on the Art Doll Only Blog.  Check out the interview.  I feel like I have accomplished something for real here.

My Maniacal Moose Wrestling piece has been featured in an Etsy treasury this week.

  1. I've got to stop blog hopping today because everyone is inspiring me to make everything they're featuring! Your monsters are to die for!!! It makes me want to spin up some great colors and free-form crochet to my heart's content. Oh . . . if I only had the time.
    Beautiful (and scary!) work!

I love that you get lots of features on Etsy (I've only once) and I love that you have it going on over on Art Fire (I created an account that I can never get into, argh!)

Keep up the awesome fiber arts work!

Oh, I am going to totally order some of your stuff before the holidays...I'm waiting for one more Etsy sale before I spend.

  5. Thanks guys. It was really a feel good week. It's actually taken me years to get to this point so I'm very happy. Have a great Halloween!

@Kathryn Ray - I actually have a pattern for him somewhere that's dying to be written up. He was a custom request.
