That Is Not A Bunny

It's Fiber Arts Friday again, and I was going to have the most adorable bunny hat pattern all ready for you. Note the was going to part of that. I test-sized it on Dr. Destructo's head, and that was the end. I realized it was infant small and didn't want any part of that. Soooooo... a' frogging we went.

noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Not at all pleased, I started over and realized "this looks like one of those owl hats." I'm not a fan of the owl hats or owls in general... unless they are real life owls. Those are cool.

check out the crazy moose eye

I finally decided and sketched out a cute idea. It will be a cute little monster/alien hat. Well, gee. That's kind of what I do anyway, and why didn't I start with that in the first place. Sigh. It was not finished, nor will it be until next week.

so tired
I've been futzing around outside. Aggie's been futzing around too. Look how tired he was the other day. There are plants to move and views to block out. I think that will be the priority this weekend. That and knitting. I would like to make some more headway on my shawl.

Check out Andrea's blog for the rest of the Fiber Arts Friday fun. I'll be heading over there soon myself.

    1. Hahahaha... I made sure my hair was presentable and all! If the sketches are right, it should be cute... just not what I started out with. Oh well.

  4. My husband thinks that unraveling after 30 minutes of crochet is the actual method by which crocheted things are made: crochet for 30 minutes, then unravel 15 minutes' worth. Repeat.

  6. Your frogging scares me. Hopefully it's not all a tangle. LOVE your doggie pic.

    1. I managed to wind it all back up and crochet part of the new hat with it. Then I decided to change colors, because I was getting frustrated. :)

  7. So sorry you had to frog so much! I usually visit the frog at least once with most of my projects :o) It's always a learning process. Can't wait to see the finished pattern.

  8. Funny how art always tells the maker what it wants to be!
