Monster Chef Presents: Rosemary Kale Pork Tenderloins

Today I would like to introduce to you, a very special friend, Monster Chef. He will be sharing his Rosemary Kale Pork Tenderloin.

monster chef presents: rosemary kale pork tenderloin
hello. i am monster chef. it is a pleasure to meet you. now pay attention!

Ingredients:
5 (about 1lb.) thin cut, boneless pork tenderloin
2 sprigs rosemary
1/2 C. Chopped kale
1/2 C. Shredded cheddar cheese
Smattering of bread crumbs
Extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder to taste
As many toothpicks as it takes
Baking dish
Oven set to 350 F

Instructions:
Spray your pan (if need be) with cooking spray, and add about 3/4 of your breadcrumbs to the dish. Place pork flat on top and add kale and cheddar (leave a little out for the end). Season to taste with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drizzle olive oil over the pork. Pat everything as flat as possible.

Roll pork and secure with toothpicks. Shoot for 2 each, but more is fine. It is okay if the sides are exposed and some of the stuffing falls out. You can rotate your pork rolls if there isn't enough room in your dish (NOTHING is monster sized in this kitchen!). Drizzle a little more olive oil over the rolls. Sprinkle the rest of your bread crumbs on top of your pork rolls, along with the rest of the kale then cheese. Add your 2 sprigs of rosemary to the baking dish.

Bake for about 20-30 minutes... depending on your oven. This test kitchen's oven is lousy and won't set to the correct temperature all the time, AND then won't bake evenly to boot! Very unprofessional.

Take a picture BEFORE your family of hungry monsters gobbles a few up, to add to your recipe book of delicious monster dinners.

Please take a minute to share this with all of your food loving monster friends... unless they are vegetarians or vegans. Although, this could probably be done with tofu if you knew how to cook with it. Monster have no idea.

  2. Looks terrific! Had missed this one because we were away then and email was spotty. Love the little chef. Am sure there are some vegetarian monsters in the world - after all, many of the dinosaurs were plant eaters! But then again, look where that got them.
