5 Reasons Why I Am Insane

There are the usual reason as to why I am insane, but those are never going to change.  I have learned to roll with them and let life continue.  I'm talking about the reasons that I bring upon myself.  These are the things that I do, that the very fact that I do them makes me insane by default.  There are a few of them.  My brain might explode.  Probably not, actually.

Reason 1.  I have decide that I have to step up monster making production... not just for the holiday season, but for all time.  My to-do lists span the week and kind of make me want to throw up.  Am I a glutton for punishment.  Yes.  Yes I am.  A monster a day, with the possibility of ornaments and keychains, and knitting distractions, and oh yeah... let's make some awesome Christmas gifts this year.  Insane.

Reason 2.  I am still planning on cooking the pile of apples down to make homemade applesauce.  Yummy, yes.  Insane to add to the other household fun and kiddos... also, yes.  Hubs also want some homemade applesauce, and I love him.  Insane.

Reason 3. I decided to do NaNoWriMo... which stands for National Novel Writing Month.   Yep.  I'm gonna write a novel... in 30 days.  Wheeeeeee!  I'm actually really excited about this, and have had a weird idea floating around in my head for about 10 years.  Insane.

Reason 4. I am doing Thanksgiving this year.... at my house.  I don't think this would be insane, but looking at the list above, I'm pretty sure it's insane.  This also is something that I'm very excited about doing also.  Mmmm... stuffing.

Reason 5.  There's still the issue of a course I signed up for online and have to finish this week.  I'm not going to talk about it, because I'm annoyed that I put it off for so long.  But it's there and now has to get done amongst the 90 kabillion other things on my list. Insane.

So I guess being insane kind of keeps me happy.  I stick my tongue out at insane.  So there.  (Notice my inner 5 year old peeking out?)

  1. Ah, insanity. Where would we arty/crafty types be without it?
And to think that most non-crafty people think we just play around with beads and wool all day ... bah, humbug.
Must dash - insanely busy, don'cha know.
